- 2 - Smaller rectangles in outer columns....⅝ yd *¼ yd
- 3 - Medium rectangles in center columns....½ yd *¼ yd
- 4 - Small rectangles in center columns....¼ yd
- 5 - Sashing, borders, and binding....1⅝ yd
*¼ yd - if fabric is non-directional, blocks can be cut across WOF, saving fabric
