**In stock orders are currently shipping within 4-5 business days. We are working very hard to get caught up.  Updated 01.20.25.

In stock orders (orders without pre-orders) are typically shipped within 48 hours - many orders are shipped the same day as received.  

Important note about preorders: Orders that contain BOTH in stock items and pre-order items will be held and shipped together once ALL pre-order items have arrived unless you specifically request separate shipments. We are happy to accommodate separate shipments!  Separate shipments will likely require additional shipping fees.  

Shipping labels are printed with the address you enter when you place your order. Orders returned to us for an incorrect address will be assessed an additional postage fee so that we can re-ship your order to the correct location.

SHIPPING WITHIN THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES:

*All U.S. orders over $100 qualify for Free Shipping!

*(Excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Full Bolt Specials & Dropship items - shipping is quoted at checkout).

We use USPS Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx, and UPS - all include delivery confirmation.

*Requesting multiple shipments from one order will require additional shipping fees.  We will invoice you for the additional postage.

*Although we will make every attempt to help locate missing packages with tracking, we are not responsible for packages lost or damaged by the carriers. Please consider adding shipping protection to your order for these situations.  Additionally, we are not liable for packages marked as delivered but not received - these need to be addressed by the customer with the local carrier right away.  In most cases, these packages are found in a timely manner.

LOCAL AREA RESIDENTS:

For our customers near Fort Worth, TX, we’re happy to offer a convenient pick-up service. Simply select this option at checkout, and we’ll notify you as soon as your order is ready! We kindly ask that you pick up your order in a timely manner. Orders not picked up within 8 weeks will be moved from the pickup area and the fabric will be donated.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:

We love to ship internationally!

We use USPS priority mail (flat rate envelopes & boxes), FedEx, UPS, and DHL for orders that are not shipped first-class. Please note, it is against our policy to mark the customs form as "gift".  We are not responsible for any customs/duties fees and, unfortunately, have no control over the rate charged by the receiving country.

International tracking numbers are available in most destination countries for all methods of shipment. Due to the fact that USPS packages leave the USPS system once they arrive in the destination county, we cannot be held responsible for undelivered international packages.

Some items cannot be shipped internationally, and are labeled as such.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS:

We ♥ our customers & make every effort to be accurate. If there is a problem with your order such as wrong item sent or a flaw in your fabric, please contact us within 21 days by email (service@fortworthfabricstudio.com) and we will be happy to work with you. 

  • Due to the nature of custom cut orders, we do not accept fabric returns unless there is a flaw or error on your order. Any approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. (Restocking fee does not apply if there is a flaw or if we made an error on your order).
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable.
  • We are unable to accept returns on patterns & books due to copyright laws.  This also applies to kits that include a pattern.
  • There are no refunds for any reason after 21 days.
  • Approved cancelled orders that have not yet shipped, but have already been custom cut or pulled for shipping will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee.
  • Approved cancelled pre-orders are subject to a 15% (minimum $5.00) processing fee to cover administrative costs.
  • Shipping protection is not refundable, no exceptions. 
  • Items with manufacturer's warranties - please follow the instructions included with the product.  We do not accept returns for items with warranties.
  • Subscriptions, including Sewscription Boxes and Sew Smart Membership, are non-refundable once processed. Please be sure to follow the provided guidelines to cancel before your account is charged.

We are unable to refund previously placed orders for new sale prices, regardless of whether we have shipped your order or not.
